The 2025 edition of the BIPSA (Bio-Imagerie Photonique et Santé en Nouvelle-Aquitaine) event in Nouvelle-Aquitaine was held on February 5 at the Poitiers University Hospital.
Co-organized by ALPHA-RLH and the I3M (Multi-nucleus Multi-organ Metabolic Imaging) laboratory, which uses data from the only 7T MRI scanner for clinical use in France, the event brought together more than 100 participants: researchers, clinicians, engineers, manufacturers, and students.
During the conferences, speakers shared their expertise on scientific and technological advances in the field of signaling and imaging for health, promoting the emergence of collaborative innovation projects.
The skills and expertise of manufacturers (Siemens Healthineers, Canon Medical Systems France, Guerbet, and Alia Santé) were also showcased through booths, while research work was highlighted in a poster session.
Punctuated by opportunities for discussion and networking, the day ended with a visit to the 7T MRI (ultra-high field magnetic resonance imaging) platform.
Organized in partnership with Poitiers University Hospital, the University of Poitiers, and the CNRS, with support from Siemens Healthineers, this event will be held again in 2026.
