French photonics at Photonics West 2026

French photonics, particularly photonicsfrom the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, was present in San Francisco from January 20 to 22, 2026 at Photonics West, the global gathering for the optical-photonics industry.

With the support of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, ALPHA-RLH promotes the internationalization of SMEs in order to promote regional innovation. The cluster was present alongside its members, many of whom participated in this 2026 edition.

ALPhANOV, AUREA Technology, BLOOM Lasers, GLOphotonics, Lytid, Photonics Bretagne, STIL - Marposs Group - and the Naquidis Center (dedicated to quantum technologies) exhibited at the French Pavilion, organized by Business France. Other members had their own stands: AeroDIODE, Amplitude Laser, Bertin Alpao, Cailabs, Edmund Optics, Exail, Exosens, Femto Easy, Imagine Optic, Le Verre Fluoré, OptoSigma, Oxxius, Thales, and TOPTICA Photonics.

All were able to showcase their expertise and technologies in the fields of photonics, lasers, fiber optics, sensors, and more. Their collective presence highlighted the dynamism of the French ecosystem.
