A look back at the second edition of Quantum Day in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Following the success of the 2023 edition, Quantum Day in Nouvelle-Aquitaine returned to the Institut d'Optique d'Aquitaine in Talence on July 4, 2025.

Organized by the NAQUIDIS Center, IOGS, the ALPHA-RLH cluster, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, CNRS, the Universities of Bordeaux and Limoges, and with the support of official partner Toptica France, the event program featured several key moments, including a keynote speech by Serge Haroche (2012 Nobel Prize in Physics), a focus on quantum cryptography and the challenges of technological sovereignty, and the official inauguration of the Maison du Quantique – HybQuant.
